Projects

The Botswana National Sports Council has three Special Projects, all under the custody of the Executive Committee, administered by the Secretariat, and open to all BNSC Affiliates. The projects are Sports Development, Zebra Athlete, and Elite Scholarship. The purpose of the three Funds is to assist affiliates in various areas of athlete development, in all the cases adhering to the BNSC Financial and Accounting Procedures Manual. Affiliates whose applications are successful under any of the Funds shall present quarterly reports to the Council stating progress made on the use of the disbursed funds.

Where an affiliate feels aggrieved by the decision of the Secretariat, it may appeal to the Sports Development Committee. If the affiliate is still aggrieved, it may appeal to the Council Executive Committee, whose decision shall be final.

Where the Chairperson of the Sports Development Committee is of the opinion that there is need for a meeting to discuss an application for funding from any of the Funds, such a meeting shall be called.
